Privacy notice

Observes holds company-level factual and technical data about UK companies, which is not personal data. The personal data we do hold is exactly one store:

The waitlist

• What: your email address, the time and version of your consent, and — if you chose to answer — your response to "what would make this worth paying for?". No IP address, no analytics identifier, no referrer.
• Why: to contact you about Observes, because you asked us to (consent, UK GDPR art. 6(1)(a)).
• How long: 24 months from your sign-up, or until you remove yourself, whichever comes first. At that point your email address and even its keyed hash are deleted; your anonymous answer to the question is kept.
• Removal, two ways: the personal link shown once when you signed up — or simply email privacy@observes.co.uk from the address you registered and we delete it by hand. No account, no questions.

Consent wording (v1)

I agree to be contacted about Observes. Consent can be withdrawn at any time via the removal link or by emailing privacy@observes.co.uk; withdrawal deletes the address immediately.

Companies' data

Register data appears here under the Open Government Licence v3.0. If a page we crawl unexpectedly returns personal data, we stop and flag rather than store; erasure requests against anything we do hold are honoured by suppression and deletion of the raw payload.
